Chinese OEM Oppo confirmed that its “find” series phones are making a comeback. The company will unveil the Oppo Find X in a launch event at the Louvre in Paris on 19 June. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer used its Find series to bring the latest in tech.
Oppo Find X Specifications
The last device released in the Find series is Oppo Find 7, launched in 2014. It was among the first phones to incorporate a fully laminated display with the touch sensors built into the same layer as the actual display panel. It was also the first to feature a Quad HD resolution display panel and 3GB RAM along with 3,000mAh battery. Oppo came up with its own fast charging solution known as VOOC flash charge. The same tech which OnePlus Dash Charge is based upon.
As for the camera, it had an exciting capability to allow users to create a huge 50-megapixel image by combining several images. The teasers released by the company says that it is once again gearing up to showcase innovative and advanced tech via the Find X.
This teaser shows an outline of Oppo Find X with the battery in the middle. This means that the device will come will include Super VOOC fast charging technology. This proprietary charging tech from Oppo can top up a 2,500mAh battery in just 15 minutes. On the other hand, the rounded edges point towards Edge Display, previously only used by Samsung. This poster suggests us that the smartphone may come with a 5x optical zoom, and support Face Unlock.
This latest poster from the company reveals that the Oppo Find X Smartphone will sport the flagship processor Snapdragon 845 SoC. Along with 8GB of RAM and a huge 256GB of internal storage. Other rumored specs include 20MP + 16MP dual rear camera sensors, 3,645 mAh battery, 6.4-inch AMOLED display, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE and a 25MP front-facing shooter. However, we need to wait until the June 19 event for the final specs.
