Specifications of MI Band 4
As suggested earlier, the design and look of Mi band 4 is similar to its predecessor Mi band 3. But, it comes with a much bigger and better display. The highlight is its colour OLED display, which is new for the band. It packs a 0.95 inch touch-enabled AMOLED display with a resolution of 240×120 pixels. The screen is protected by 2.5D curved glass and the colourful screen is capable of displaying much more kinds of notifications than the Mi band 3.
Coming to the health aspect, the Mi band 4 also sports important sensors as the Mi band 3, but they are way more improved versions. The band includes step tracking, sleep tracking heart rate sensor among other things. Like Mi band 3, it can detect different types of outdoor activities like cycling, jogging, swimming, etc. But the new thing is it’s upgraded six-axis sensor which can detect types in types! For eg. Not only does it detects that you are swimming, but it also detects whether you are performing freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly stroke, or Medley!
Like its predecessor, it comes with 5ATM water resistance, which means it won’t be affected by drops of water but you should not throw it in a bucket of water!
Coming to the battery, the company claims a single charge can give you 20 days of battery. And the charging pin position has also been changed from top to bottom.
As suggested by the leaks before, the band sports Bluetooth 5.0 for better connectivity. And yes, an NFC version of the band is also available. So, the leaks were right so far.
But, there’s one surprise which no one knew about. The band comes with Xiaomi’s own AI voice assistant! That’s the first time something like this is available on a budget smart band. With this assistant, users can control other Mi ecosystem devices.
